Saturday: February 21st: Dowel Car Museum at Upper Beaconsfield

Planning for this event is underway and we are at the stage where the actual number of members intending to go needs to be known. At our December monthly meeting considerable interest was noted.

The Dowel Museum website mentions the extensive new development that includes vehicles and items relocated from their previous collection. The new facility is not yet open to the public. However, visits from groups such as our club are happening. 

Member interest indicates a 40 to 50 passenger coach will be the best way to make the 230 km each way trip. Greg Sutherland has agreed to be our driver and to make arrangements for the bus. In order to progress planning your interest needs to be known. A deposit of $50 paid to GVMVDC Inc. at Bendigo Bank (BSB 633 000, Acc.1366 25076) including your name plus 'bus' will give us the guidance that we need by Jan. 8 Either pay electronically or at our January 8 monthly meeting. Once numbers are known details of the plans will be made known to members.
